Chris Tretter new co-owner and GM at Sultan’s Run
Sultan’s Run and owner Steve Braun announced the addition of Chris Tretter as co-owner and General Manager, effective December 2, 2019.
In this role, Chris will support the staff in the day-to-day operation of existing service offerings as well as the planning and implementation of new and exciting service opportunities.
“I am very pleased with the excellent work our staff has put into transforming Sultan’s Run into what it is today, and I look forward to the continued efforts as we make additional investments to further develop into a resort-style property that will remain a gem in Dubois County and the region. Chris brings an entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrated business acumen, a positive leadership style and passion for the golf industry as shown by his significant involvement in junior golf initiatives. I am thrilled to have him joining as co-owner and General Manager,” stated Mr. Braun.
Mr. Tretter is a 1986 graduate of Forest Park High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology from Purdue University and a master’s degree in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University.
After a twenty-year career with Verizon Wireless and Crown Castle, he and his family returned to Ferdinand where he became co-owner and vice president of development for Access Storage and Progressive Development Company.
He has served as the chairman of Dubois Strong, a member of the Dubois County Community Foundation Finance Committee, Chairman of The First Tee-South Central, Co-founder of Dubois County Junior Golf and Boys Golf Coach at Forest Park High School.
Chris and his wife Dawn live in Ferdinand with their three children Devyn, Garrison, and Brant.
