Cheryl Wetzel, 75, Jasper

Cheryl Wetzel, 75, passed away on Oct. 17, 2023, at The Timbers of Jasper, Ind.

She was born in Perry County, Ind., on March 25, 1948, the daughter of Frank and Imogene (Foerster) Sergesketter.

Cheryl was a 1966 graduate of Dale High School. She retired from Master Brand Cabinets.

Cheryl loved her family and spending time with them. You would often find her at her grandchildren’s sporting events, cheering them on. She enjoyed taking pictures and became the family photographer, capturing memories for her family to enjoy for years to come.

Cheryl was survived by her sons, Charles Wetzel of Panama City Beach, Fla. and Darrell Wetzel of Tell City; siblings, Danny Sergesketter (Sarah) of Jasper, Kathy McDaniel (Stan) of Whiteland, Ind., and Lynn Goss (Joe) of Fairhope Ala.; two grandchildren, Kassi Dauby (Grant), and Kosha Wetzel; and three great-grandchildren, Miles, Grayson, and Carter Dauby.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Kevin Wetzel.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
