Charles R. Kolb, 74, Jasper
Charles R. Kolb, 74, of Jasper, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at home.

Charles was born in Evansville, Indiana, on February 15, 1949, to Marion and Doris (Heldt) Kolb.
He married Karen Brown on December 24, 1990, in Boonville, Indiana.
He was a graduate of Harrison High School. He then earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Purdue University and an associate’s degree in nursing from the University of Evansville.
He was a nurse at Welborn Hospital in Evansville for several years. He was also a farmer and was very passionate about agriculture.
He was a member of Redemption Christian Church in Jasper, and he was past president of the Jasper Gun and Rifle Club.
Charles was an avid target shooter and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Kolb of Jasper; three sons, Charles F. Collins and significant other, Maggie Kitsch, of Naples, Fla., Wesley Kolb of Jasper and Christian Kolb of Jasper; one brother, Marvin (Pam) Kolb of Evansville, IN.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
A funeral service for Charles R. Kolb will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Enlow Cemetery in Jasper, Indiana. Rev. Darrel Land will officiate.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. service time on Tuesday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.
