Charles N. “Chuck” Johnson, 60, Huntingburg

Charles N. “Chuck” Johnson, 60, Huntingburg, passed away at 9:15 p.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016, in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born May 13, 1956, in Vincennes to Charles E. “Sonny” and Mary Margaret (Green) Johnson. He was united in marriage to Carol S. Wagner on June 21, 1997, at Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg.

Chuck was a retired factory machinist; a member of the Huntingburg High School Class of 1974; and a fraternal member of the V.F.W. Post #2366 and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was  an avid pool player who played in several traveling pool leagues.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Nathan C. Johnson; and one sister, Cheryl McCoy.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Carol S. Johnson of Huntingburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Christopher (Tasha) Johnson of Jasper; one brother and sister-in-law, Mike (Jan) Johnson of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Carol Ann Johnson of Huntingburg; one granddaughter and one step granddaughter, Anna Grace Johnson and Lalyah Palma.

Funeral services for Charles “Chuck” Johnson will be held at 10:00 a.m. EST Thursday, September 8, 2016, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Brother David Wayne Mathias will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Wednesday.
