Charles A. Keller, Sr., 75, Otwell

Charles A. Keller, Sr., 75, of Otwell, passed away at 11:45 p.m., on Saturday, April 16, 2016, in Huntingburg.

He was born October 5, 1940, in Jasper, Indiana to Alvin and Anna (Reiker) Keller.

Charles worked as a house mover and retired as a foreman for Buchta Leasing, Inc.’s House Movers division in Otwell, Indiana. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland and the Otwell “Circle A Gossip Center”.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Phyllis R. (Milner) Keller, who passed away March 9, 2006; one sister, Rita Cooper; and four brothers, Robert, John, Richard and Donald Keller.

He is survived by three daughters and two son-in-laws, Shelly (Greg) Garrison of Vincennes, Mrs. Tina (Joe) Byrd of Huntingburg and Lisa Harker of Mount Carmel, Ill.; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Charles (Renaee) Keller, Jr. of Loogootee and Jamie (fiancé: Tenille Fitch) Keller of Otwell; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Jenny Butler of Jasper, Mrs. Rosie (David) Peters of Ferdinand and Vera Price of Greenfield, Ind.; 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass for Charles A. Keller, Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ireland.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
