Charles Edward “Chuck” Buchanan, 45

Charles Edward “Chuck” Buchanan, 45, of West Baden, passed away at 9:16 a.m., Thursday, November 27, 2014 at his residence.

Chuck was born June 1, 1969 in Paoli, Indiana, to Jerry and Roberta (Purkhiser) Buchanan.

He was a 1987 graduate of Springs Valley High School. He was an Eagle Scout, enjoyed playing pool, listening to music and playing golf. Chuck had previously worked at Jacob’s Pub in Evansville and he attended church at The River in Shoals.

He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Roberta Buchanan of West Baden; sons, Andrew Raymond Wagner of Huntingburg and Dakota Charles Buchanan of Ft. Bragg, N.C; daughter, Meliescha Ann Bullock of Loogootee; three grandsons and one on the way. He is also survived by a brother, Kerry Buchanan of West Baden and a sister, Jayliene Marie Baylis of Shoals.

Preceding him in death were paternal grandparents, Grant and Opal Buchanan maternal grandparents, Charles and Helen Purkhiser and a niece, Tiana Baylis.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at T.L Pinnick Mortuary, 785 South Bears Bend Rd., French Lick, with Rev. Ed Farhar officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at T.L Pinnick Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers family requests memorial contributions be made to T.L. Pinnick Mortuary, 785 South Bears Bend Road, French Lick, Indiana 47432 to assist with expenses.
