Charles “Eddie” Burton, 81, French Lick

Charles “Eddie” Burton, 81, of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on February 24, 2021, at Springs Valley Meadows, French Lick.

He was born in Orange County on April 9, 1939, to William Paul Burton and Helen Irene (Knight) Burton.

He was a 1957 graduate of French Lick High School and had been an operator in the construction business.

He is survived by his companion, Karen Weaver of French Lick; three sons Charles “Chuck” Burton, Jr. (Lori) of West Baden Springs, Darin Burton (Will) of Vincennes, and Dave Weaver (Kris) of Huntingburg; two daughters, Kimberly Decatur (Larry) of Indianapolis and Dianna Land (Chris) of French Lick; four brothers, David Burton (Nina Kay) of Chattanooga, Tenn., Gordon Burton (Peggy) of Dubois, Ralph Burton (Tootie) of French Lick, and Jay Burton (Jerri) of French Lick; one sister-in-law, Virginia Burton of French Lick; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bill Burton; one sister, Evelyn Mae.

Cremation was chosen.
