Charles “Chuck” Michael Woodall, 72

Charles “Chuck” Michael Woodall, age 72, a resident of the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, formerly of Ewing, New Jersey, passed away at 10:15 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Northwood Retirement Community.

He was born April 10, 1942 in Jasper, Indiana, to Arthur and Mary C. (Gootee) Woodall. Chuck was a retired truck driver and former resident of Ewing, New Jersey, where he lived with his significant other, Joanne Fort, for 35 years.

He enjoyed creating leatherwork and crafts, line-dancing, fishing, and telling stories of his life experiences.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and one brother, Donald Woodall.

He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Cooper of Birdseye and Diana DeWeese of Florida; his significant other, Joanne Fort of Ewing, N.J.; six sisters, Mary Woodall of Fishers, Ind., Pat Gouker of Greenwood, Ind., Margaret (Ed) Devlin of Huntingburg, Virginia (Bill) Hardin of Louisville, Ky., Becky (Dave) Reiter of Fort Myers, Fla., and Judy (Dan) Fitch of Huntingburg; by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
