Charles “Chuck” E. Pierce, 70

Charles “Chuck” E. Pierce, age 70, of Jasper, passed away at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on October 20, 1943 to Harold and Lucille (Hibbs) Pierce.

Chuck retired from the Jasper Police Department after many years of Service, after retirement he worked in sales for Uebelhors Motor Company in Jasper.

Chuck died on Derby Day; he loved horse racing and playing cards.

He is survived by one daughter, Linda Schnell of Jasper; two sons, Mark Pierce and wife Donna and Jason Pierce and wife Tina, both of Jasper; Stepfather, Don Phillips of Jasper; brother, Dave Grubb of Jasper; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death besides his parents is one son, Roger Pierce and one Daughter Lacey Pierce. Also one sister, Nancy Goodwin and one Half-brother, Dennis Phillips.

Charles “Chuck “Pierce was an organ donor.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date at the Becher-Kluesner Funeral Homes in Jasper.
