Charlene Ann (Shoaf) Belamour, age 62, of Holland, Indiana, died at 10:35 a.m., Friday, October 21, 2011 at her residence.

She was born September 25, 1949 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Onia and Mildred (Lowery) Shoaf. She was a retired caregiver. In 2007 she graduated with an Associate in Science degree from Vincennes University with Dean’s list honors. She was preceded in death by: her husband, John Scott Belamour; her parents; and one brother, Morris Shoaf.

She is survived by:

Three sons,

  • Johnathon Lee (spouse: Deanna) Belamour – Denver, Colorado,
  • Stephen Dwayne (fiance: Myrna Jimenez) Belamour – Holland, IN,
  • Paul Markus Belamour – Wheat Ridge, Colorado,

Two daughters,

  • Annette Peel – Texas,
  • Sheila “Cathy” Belamour – Paoli, IN,

Two brothers,

  • Onia Lee (spouse: Mary) Shoaf – Crawfordsville, IN,
  • Oscar (spouse: Jody) Shoaf – Delphi, IN,

Four sisters,

  • Charolette Lowery – Florida,
  • Carolyn (spouse: Mike) Young – Crawfordsville, IN,
  • Marilyn (spouse: Mark) Easterling – Crawfordsville, IN,
  • Patricia Shoaf – Florida,

Her longtime companion,

  • Ralph Paulin – Holland, IN,

and (8) grandchildren.

There will be no public visitation or funeral services. Disposition of her cremains will occur at a later date. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.
