Cathy Riehle, 74, Newburgh

Cathy Riehle, 74, of Newburgh, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, at her home.

She was born April 15, 1943, in Huntingburg to John F. and Mary (Trzeciak) Gramelspacher.

Cathy graduated from Jasper High School, then went on the join the United States Marine Corps to serve for three years.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she was active in the parish bookkeeping, Girl Scout leader, Baby Bootie group member, Prayer Shaw Ministry and Food Pantry helper.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, John J. Gramelspacher, Carmalita Elmer, Rose Gerhard, Alice Kilpatrick, Frank Gramelspacher and Dave Gramelspacher.

Cathy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gene Riehle; children, Tina Wilkinson of Newburgh, Cindy Riehle of Evansville, Joy (Liam) Miller of Willow, Alaska; grandchildren, Shelby Wilkinson, Ethan Miller, Avery Miller; and sister, May (Bud) Kleeman of Jasper.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. CST, Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd., Newburgh.  Entombment will follow in St. John the Baptist Mausoleum with Full Military Rites conducted by the United States Marine Corp.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. CST, with a Military Service and Rosary to begin at 7:30 p.m. CST, Monday at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, 812-853-8314. Additional visitation will be 9 a.m. CST until Mass time Tuesday at the church.
