CASA seeking volunteers; informational meeting scheduled

Dubois County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is holding an informational meeting on September 22 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Jasper High School.

Child advocates provide a voice during troubling times

The one-hour meeting is designed to attract more volunteers by providing an opportunity to learn more about the CASA program and the role it plays in our community.

CASA volunteers are community members trained to represent children who are part of the court system due to abuse or neglect. Over 150 Dubois County children need a CASA each year.
