Carolyn A. (Bounds) Alles, 45

Carolyn A. (Bounds) Alles, 45, of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away Friday morning, September 26, 2014 at her residence in Birdseye.

She was born October 18, 1968 in Huntingburg, Indiana, to James L. and Mary Rose (Kessens) Bounds.  Carolyn worked at David’s Hair Salon as an independent massage therapist.  She enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping.  Carolyn was preceded in death by:  her mother, who passed away May 5, 2004; and her father, who passed away June 30, 2011.

She is survived by six siblings, Jane (Van) Hemmerlein of Fountaintown, Ind., Jim (Andrea) Bounds, Jr. of Huntingburg, Jeff (DeAnna) Bounds of Huntingburg, Margaret (Lenny) Rasche of Huntingburg, Teresa Bounds of Jasper, and Joe (Sheila) Bounds of Fishers; Her companion, Mark Allen Goldman of Birdseye; and 11 nieces and nephews, Andrew Hemmerlein, Aaron Hemmerlein, Brett Rasche, Austin Rasche, Kaitlyn Bounds, Allison Bounds, Rachel Bounds, Johnny Bounds, Breanna Bounds, Matthew Bounds and Roselyn Bounds.

Funeral services for Carolyn A. Alles will be held at 10:00 a.m. EST on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.  Interment of her cremains will follow a graveside committal service held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 5, 2014, at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2-8 p.m., on Monday.  A parish rosary prayer vigil will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday afternoon, at the funeral home.  Condolences may be shared online at www.nassandson.com.
