Caroline K. Toby, 88

Caroline K. Toby, age 88, of St. Anthony, Indiana, passed away at 3:15 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2013, in The Scenic Hill Health Care Center in Ferdinand, Indiana.
She was born at Huntingburg, Indiana on September 9, 1924 to Henry and Otillia (Burke) Hasenour. She married Joseph Toby Sr. July 6, 1946. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1999.
Caroline was a dedicated member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Some of her early working days were at Ferdinand Furniture and she later retired from Othmar Klem Cabinet Co.
While taking care of the family farm, she fulfilled her passions for fishing, taking photos and gardening. She poured her heart into many beautiful quilts for family and friends and was a fan of baseball. She attended wrestling matches since seeing Jerry the King Lawler at the Jasper gymnasium until the days of WWF.
While in her eighties, she still lived life to the fullest by finding joy in jet skiing and motorcycles.
She was also a member of Senior Citizens Club of St. Anthony, Indiana.

One sister, Sally Weyer, Ferdinand, IN
Twenty-five grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death besides her husband are one son, Ronnie (Butch)Toby and one grandson Templer Montgomery and one step-grandson, Johnny Ermmet. One brother, Raymond Hasenour and One sister, Lena Steffen.
Funeral services for Caroline Toby will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013, in St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
