Carolee (Carol) Davis, 57

Carolee (Carol) Davis, 57, passed away surrounded by family at Deaconess Midtown Hospital on October 14, 2025.

She was born on February 19, 1968, to Patsy Sue Estell and Chester Wayne Estell. She married James Davis in Owensboro, KY, on June 26, 1998.

She is survived by her husband, James Davis, her daughter, Alicia (Nick) Stone, two granddaughters, Lorelei and Emelyn Stone; and three fur babies, Maggie, Grettel and her beloved Riley. Also surviving are her siblings, Wayne Estell of Bedford, Melissa (Frank) Ford of Springville, Ind, Chris (Danielle) Estell of Ellettsville, and Collin Estell of Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Patsy and father, Chester, and also an uncle, Ray Long and aunt, Beth Long.

Carol was a graduate of Oakland City University of Bedford with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She was an assistant store manager and up-front manager at K-Mart for over 20 years. She was also a Corrections Officer at Branchville Correctional Facility.

She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her granddaughters and nieces. She had a love of animals and made sure to share numerous facebook posts to try and find homes for animals in shelters.

Services are pending at Rainey Funeral Home in Dale.
