, passed away at 7:56 p.m. Friday (December 16, 2011) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born in Jasper, Indiana November 17, 1941 to Revard and Constance (Baunach) Pfeffer. She married Donald “Butch” Hedinger August 24, 1963, he preceded her in death July 6, 1999.

Carol retired from Jasper Engine Exchange where she had worked for ten years.

She is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Blessed Virgin Sodality.

Surviving

Three sons:

  • Eric Hedinger and spouse Shelly, Jasper, IN
  • Paul Hedinger and spouse Annette, Jasper, IN
  • Kevin Hedinger and spouse Susan, Hubertus, WI

Mother:

  • Constance Pfeffer, Jasper, IN

Seven grandchildren:

  • Andrew
  • Olivia
  • Christopher
  • Megan
  • Emily
  • Katelyn
  • Kyle

Two sisters:

  • Mrs. Donald (Beverly) Werner, Jasper, IN
  • Mrs. Robert (Brenda) Alles, both Jasper, IN

Preceding her in death besides her husband is one brother Ronald Pfeffer.

Funeral services for Carol E. Hedinger will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday (December 21, 2011) in Holy Family Catholic Church with entombment in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday (December 20, 2011) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.

Rosary will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday by the Blessed Virgin Sodality at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
