Carmen “Kaye” Drury, 71

Carmen “Kaye” Drury, age 71, of Winslow, Indiana, passed away at 9:15 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2013 at her home in Winslow.

She was born May 29, 1941 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Hugh and Almeda (Doetker) Carlisle. Kaye was a retired furniture manufacturing worker.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; one daughter, Elizabeth Drury; one sister, Patty Krampe; and two brothers, Fred and Larry Carlisle.

She is survived by:

One son,

Herschel Gish – Winslow, IN

Two daughters,

Debbie Smith – Martinsville, IN

Brenda Rothrock – Terra Haute, IN

Four brothers,

Hank, Junior, Irving and Don Allen Carlisle,

Two sisters,

Dee Warner and Phyllis Crooks,

And five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A graveside service to inter the cremains of Carmen Kaye Drury will be held at 11:00 am, E.D.T. (10am, CDT in Somerville, IN), on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Somerville Cemetery in Somerville, Indiana. The burial arrangements have been entrusted to Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.

There will also be a Celebration of Life gathering at Kaye’s home in Winslow starting at 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Saturday afternoon (April 13, 2013). Friends are welcome and invited to attend.
