Carletta Ann Mehringer, 67, Huntingburg

Carletta Ann Mehringer, 67, of Huntingburg, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center in Jasper. 

She was born October 12, 1958, in Huntingburg to Arthur and Barbara (Robinson) Parks.

Barbara was a furniture factory worker. She enjoyed being outdoors, singing and spending time with family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents. 

She is survived by three daughters, Tammy (Al) Barkley, of Huntingburg, Amber (Bryce) Skinner, of Hyrum, Utah and April Mehringer of Huntingburg; one son, Shawn Mehringer of Huntingburg; her partner, Randy Messmer of Huntingburg; three sisters, Arlene Bright, Gayle Smith, and Angela Mendel all of Huntingburg; and one brother, Arthur Parks of Huntingburg; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral Service for Carletta Mehringer will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2026, at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Interment will take place at Fairmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 10:00-11:00 a.m. before the service.
