Carla J. Wuchner, 55, Jasper, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2016, in St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

Carla was born in Jasper on November 10, 1961 to David and Wilma Jean (Sermersheim) Wuchner.

She was a 1980 graduate of Jasper High School. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1985 from Western Kentucky University with a degree in marketing. During her college years she was a member and treasurer of the Kappa Delta Sorority and president of the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity. She was an initiate and president of Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society, member of Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society and treasurer of the Order of Omega Greek Honor Society. She was named to the “Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.”

She had a long and successful career in the fields of marketing, sales, and photography as she worked all across the country, with her last employment being with Lifetouch National School Studio and IRCIL (Indianapolis Resource Center for Independent Living).

She was a past member of Trinity United Church of Christ.

She loved the Lord, animals, helping people as well as and crossword and Suduko puzzles.

She is survived by her mother, Wilma Jean Wuchner of Jasper; one sister, Kimberly Dietz and her husband Kenneth of Vanleer, Tenn.; stepmother, Carmen Wuchner of Petersburg; stepsister, Cheryl Craig of Petersburg; stepbrother, Gary West and his wife Julie of Haubstadt; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death her father, David Wuchner.

A private family service was held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home.
