Carl L. Kemp, 69, Eckerty

Carl L. Kemp, 69, of Eckerty, passed away at 6:19 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2019, in St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville.

He was born on May 31, 1950, at New Albany, Indiana to Joseph and Myrtle (Knight) Kemp.

Carl retired from Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper where he had worked for many years in maintenance. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren and woodworking.

He is survived by two daughters, Diana Fischer (Allan) of Dubois and Tammy Jones (Jon) of Jasper; four grandchildren, Cody and Cayla Fischer and Dacoda and Brandon Mehringer; three great-grandchildren, Marley, Jeric and Corbin Fischer; longtime friend, Judith Kemp of Jasper; one sister, Kathryn Kemp of Crawford County; one brother, Earl Kemp of Crawford County.

Preceding him in death are two brothers, Arthur and Charles Kemp; one sister, Ellen Kemp.

Private services were held at the Becher-Kluesner Funeral Homes in Jasper.
