Carl Henry Neukam, 99

Carl Henry Neukam, age 99, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 11:20 p.m., Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born November 25, 1912 in Dubois County, Indiana to Harry and Laura (Hemmerlein) Neukam. Carl was a retired farm worker and enjoyed gardening.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Lolan (Hartke) Neukam, who died in 1980; one daughter, Janice Kost, who died in 2011; by three sisters- Irene Scherer, Barbara Recker and Ella Mae Neukam; and three brothers- Ralph, Robert and Alva Neukam.

He is survived by:

Two sons,

Eldon Neukam – Cincinnati, OH

Gerald “Jerry” Neukam – Holland, IN

One brother,

Oscar Neukam – Jasper, IN

by 12 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Carl H. Neukam will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.S.T., on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery (Huntingburg).

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:30 p.m., on Monday.
