Cabin Fever Hike Set for March 8 at Ferdinand State Forest
Shake off the winter blues and step into the fresh air at the Cabin Fever Hike, taking place on Sunday, March 8 at 1:00 p.m. EST at the Ferdinand Forest. This free community hike invites outdoor enthusiasts of all levels to enjoy the beauty of the forest while supporting a local cause.
Hosted by DC Multisport, the event will offer two hike options beginning at the Maple Shelter House. Participants can choose between a long hike of approximately 5 miles or a short hike of about 1.5 miles.
The Cabin Fever Hike is free and open to the public. While there is no cost to participate, hikers are encouraged to bring a freewill donation to support the Dubois County Food Bank, helping provide food assistance to individuals and families throughout the county.
Whether you’re looking for a brisk afternoon hike or a casual walk to enjoy nature and community, the Cabin Fever Hike offers a great way to get moving for a good cause.
Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather, wear appropriate footwear, and bring water. All ages are welcome.
