Cabin Fever Hike huge success for hikers and local food bank

Over two trucks were filled with donations for the Dubois County Food Bank and over 500 hikers took part in the Cabin Fever Hike sponsored by DC Multisport at Ferdinand Forest.

The event was created to get people outside as the final weeks of winter wind down and, as all DC Multisport events do, benefit a local charity. Although it was more spring-like with temperatures hovering in the upper 60s Saturday, the large crowd that came out could help put the event on the nonprofit’s list of annual events on a permanent basis.
