Bruce S. Scraper, 82, Petersburg

Bruce S. Scraper, 82, of Petersburg, passed away at Amber Manor on January 11, 2025, with his family at his side.

Bruce was born November 17, 1942, in Indianapolis, to Posey N. Scraper Jr. and Mary Ann (Chambers) Scraper.

Bruce is survived by the mother of his children, Ruth A. Scraper; his children, Hyatt (Tammy) Scraper and Leah (Troy) Smith; his grandchildren, Ty Smith and Grace Smith; step-grandchildren, Jason (Alli) Jones, Jeffery Jackson, and Lacie Zeikus; step-great-grandchildren, Emma Frank, Lily Jones, Ella Jones, and Lucia Jackson; and his sisters, Madelyn (Greg) Souerdike and Adrienne (Gary) Lemond.

At Bruce’s request his services will be private.
