Brookside Village in Jasper held its second vaccination clinic for residents on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

They were one of the first skilled nursing facilities in the area to administer Covid-19 vaccinations last year and during this second clinic.

“We have had fun celebrations each time,” said activities director Heather Bartley. “But, this clinic was a bit more themed and fun for our residents.”

The theme for this clinic was “Crush Covid-19” and featured fun cupcakes, Orange Crush drinks, and candy

Between the two vaccination clinics, 49 of their 53 residents have received the vaccine. According to Bartley, 39 residents have received both doses and 10 residents have received the first dose.
