Brooks Brubeck, 84, of Birdseye, passed away July 5, 2017, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.
Brooks was born on August 18, 1932, to Cecil and Alma (Deich) Brubeck in Orange County.
Brooks was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He is a member of the Wickliffe United Methodist Church and the Newton Stewart Masonic Lodge 432.
He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed helping others. He also loved to travel and read. Brooks will be missed.
Preceded Brooks in death are his parents.
Surviving family is wife of 65 years, Demona (Eckerty) Brubeck; sons Robert (Sharon) Brubeck of Findlay, Ohio, Alan (Chrystal) Brubeck of Aberdeen, Ohio, Bruce (Angie) Brubeck of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Ronald Brubeck of Indianapolis; daughter-in-law, Julie Brubeck of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Shanna (Steve) Krieger of Indianapolis, Robbie (Amber) Brubeck of Indianapolis, Sarah Brubeck of Boston, Massachusetts, John Brubeck of Findlay, Ohio, and Shelby Brubeck of Indianapolis; great-grandchild Brooks Brubeck; and brother-in-law Jim (Sue) Eckerty of Wickliffe.
Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life scheduled at a later date.
