Bretzville Junction roundabout work to begin June 29

The Indiana Department of Transportation announced lane closures for intersection improvements at the intersection of State Road 64 and State Road 162.
Beginning on or around Monday, June 29, crews will begin work to install a roundabout at the intersection commonly known as the Bretzville Junction near Jasper.
Crews will begin with preliminary construction, including temporary widening and Phase 1 construction preparation, at the intersection. This initial work will require lane closures at the intersection in all directions. One lane will remain open in active work zones, and a flagger will be utilized for traffic control.
Preliminary work is expected to take a week to complete. Phase 1 of construction on this intersection improvement project is expected to begin on or around July 6.
Construction of the roundabout is expected to last through October. All work is dependent on weather.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
