Brenda Kay Emmons, 73, French Lick

Brenda Kay Emmons, 73, of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on October 2nd, 2020 at her residence.

She was born in Martin County, Indiana on October 20th, 1946 to Harry Edward Purkhiser, Jr. and Vera Gwendoline (Jones) Purkhiser.

Brenda married Louis Rex Emmons on June 6th, 1964 and he survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant daughter, Marcy Dyann.

She is survived by her husband, Louis Rex Emmons of French Lick; two sons, Douglas Rex Emmons (Nancy) of Nixa, Mos. and James Nathan Emmons (Samantha) of Jasper; one brother, Winston Ray Purkhiser (Paulette) of French Lick; three grandchildren, Ian McKittrick Emmons, Alexis Marcy Emmons; Anistyn Tyanna Emmons; one great-granddaughter, Eden Elizabeth Emmons; and three nieces.

A Funeral Ceremony will be on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moores Ridge Church Celebration Center with burial to follow at Ames Chapel Cemetery, Paoli, Indiana.

Friends may call on Tuesday, October 6th, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick, Indiana.
