Bonnie L. Russell, 73
Bonnie L. Russell, age 73, of Otwell, Indiana, passed away at 6:19 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2013 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born March 17, 1939 in Velpen, Indiana to William C. and Mona (Evans) Berry. She was united in marriage to Edwin D. Russell on May 23, 1955 in Petersburg, Indiana.
Bonnie was a homemaker; she attended the Otwell United Methodist Church; and was a member of the Moose Lodge of Petersburg, the Huntingburg Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Petersburg V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Edwin D. Russell, who passed away October 27, 2009; one sister, Carolyn Jean Cook; and one brother, Rudy Leon Berry.
She is survived by:
Three sons and two daughter-in-laws,
- Mark (Patty) Russell – Otwell, IN
- Bryan (Jane) Russell – Winslow, IN
- Lowell Wayne Russell – Otwell, IN
One sister,
- Gail Buse – Holland, IN
by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Bonnie L. Russell will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.S.T., on Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the Traylor Union Church Cemetery near Otwell.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Thursday.
