Boil advisory in Huntingburg lifted

The boil advisory in an area on Huntingburg’s south side has been lifted.

Water samples from the area have been tested by the Huntingburg Water Department and they have deemed the water safe for consumption. A boil order was issued Tuesday after a water main break along US 231.

The area affected was on US 231 between Sunset and Maple Streets; all of Maple Street and Oak Street between US231 and Maple Streets.
