Bobbie R. Boutwell, 84, Jasper

Bobbie R. Boutwell, 84, of Jasper, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at home. 

Bobbie was born in Eupora, Miss., on August 28, 1935, to Elda and Ila May (Peach) Loyd. She married Jack Boutwell on September 2, 1951, in Belzona, Miss.

She was a homemaker and had worked for the Jasper Glove Factory. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, traveling, and especially spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her husband, Jack Boutwell of Jasper; one son, Danny Boutwell (Donna) of Jasper; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie McCurdy (Roy) of Louisiana. 

Preceding her in death was one daughter; Sherron Oster, and three brothers; Henry, Eulo, and Elton Loyd. 

A private family funeral service will be held at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, with burial to follow at St Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Huntingburg.
