Bobbie Joan Rothrock, 91, Cuzco

Bobbie Joan Rothrock, 91, of Cuzco, passed away at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, surrounded by her family.

She was born January 29, 1933, to Gerald and Marcella (Kammerer) Jones in Winslow.

She graduated from Winslow High School Class of 1951.

She married her husband, Bob Franklin Rothrock on February 16, 1953.

Bobbie loved many hobbies, such as crafts, fishing, playing cards, and ceramics. She really enjoyed line dancing, but her biggest love of all her hobbies was traveling. In her lifetime, Bobbie traveled to every state except for two in the United States and numerous countries around the world, from Australia and New Zealand to Ireland and many others.

She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and involved with senior citizens groups in French Lick.

Bobbie is survived by her son, Alan Rothrock; daughter, Kimberly (Dale) Wiscaver; grandson, Joshua (Tiffany) Wiscaver; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Jackson Dix-Wiscaver; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Franklin Rothrock; her daughter, Debra Jayne Rothrock; her parents; a brother, Larry Jones; and her sister, Shirley Houchins.

Services for Bobbie will take place at noon EST on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg with visitation from 10 a.m. EST until service time at the funeral home. Pastor Mike Newland is officiating and burial will take place at Cuzco Cemetery in Cuzco.
