The Jasper-Dubois County Public Library provided a special bubble play time at the Birdseye Town Park Tuesday afternoon.
Kids were given access to a special formula concocted by Gayle Edelen, the library Maker Space Coordinator. She says it has to be mixed a day in advance. She does so in special five-gallon buckets that are brought out for the kids and adults to enjoy dipping special wands in to create massive bubbles.
Fun fact: If you want to learn the recipe to create a great bubble elixir, the library has three special kits that can be checked out from the “Library of Things”. They come with the ingredients needed to mix up the solution they use at all of the special events.

Drevan Tomlinson just turned two recently. According to his great-grandmother Teresa Sketo, he received bubble-blowing supplies for his birthday and has been loving them ever since.
