Billie Jo Voegerl promoted to Vice President of Operations at OFS

OFS is proud to announce the promotion of Billie Jo Voegerl to Vice President of Operations, recognizing her exceptional leadership and more than three decades of dedication to the company, its customers, and its people.

Voegerl’s career at OFS reflects a remarkable journey through nearly every level of manufacturing. She began with the company in 1992 in the tufting/spring-up area in upholstery. She steadily advanced through roles, including team lead, plant office assistant, scheduler, plant manager, and, later, into operational leadership, overseeing purchasing, master scheduling, and broader manufacturing operations.

Her hands-on experience across the production floor and operations has shaped a leadership approach grounded in collaboration, respect for craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of how great work happens.

“Billie’s story is a powerful example of what’s possible when talent, work ethic, and commitment come together,” said Cory Menke, Chief Operations Officer. “She understands our business from the ground up, and she brings a genuine passion for supporting the people who make our products and the customers who rely on them.”

Since stepping into the role of Director of Operations in 2023, Voegerl has led key areas of the company’s manufacturing operations, including casegoods assembly facilities and the raw materials warehouse, while continuing to guide master scheduling. During that time, she has helped teams adapt to new technologies, evolving processes, and growing operational complexity.

In her new role as Vice President of Operations, Voegerl will also assume oversight of the company’s Quality Department, further aligning quality and manufacturing to support consistent product excellence and customer satisfaction.

“Few leaders demonstrate the level of dedication Billie brings every day,” Menke added. “She works tirelessly to support our customers’ success while also looking out for the people across our plants who make that success possible.”

Voegerl’s 30-year career with OFS reflects a commitment not only to operational excellence but also to the people and partnerships that define the company’s culture.
