Beverly “Susie” Schmitt, age 45, passed away at 8:58 a.m. Friday, (August 10, 2012) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born August 16,1966 at Tell City, Indiana to Curtis Keaton Sr. and Betty (Bateman) Keaton. She married Jeffery C. Schmitt May 14, 1994 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville.
A graduate of Southridge High School Class of 1984 in Huntingburg, Indiana
Susie Schmitt was a secretary/ treasurer at the NE Dubois High School where she worked for the past eight years.
She is a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville and active in St. Paul’s Women’s WELCA Group and volunteer for the American Red Cross.
Her hobbie was scrapbooking.

Funeral services for Susie Schmitt will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (August 15, 2012) in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Haysville. The Rev. Charla Grieves will officiate.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday (August 14, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
WELCA Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or a favorite charity.
