Beverly G. Morgan, 66, Birdseye

Beverly G. Morgan, 66, Birdseye, formerly of Florida, passed away at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2016, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born April 13, 1950, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Otto and Fredia (Riley) Atkins and united in marriage to Roger D. Morgan on June 24, 2000, in Arcadia, Florida.

Beverly worked in the medical field as a phlebotomist. She was a member of the Birdseye Christian Church. She loved animals, especially her pet Yorkies. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, working on craft projects and going on camping trips. She was well known for the elaborate gingerbread houses she created.

Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Otto Atkins; and one brother, Kenny Atkins.

She is survived by her husband, Roger D. Morgan of Birdseye; her mother, Fredia Atkins of Birdseye; and one sister, Janice Atkins of Indianapolis.

The Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the disposition arrangements.

There will be no public visitation or funeral services.
