Betty L. Sickbert, 61

Betty L. Sickbert, age 61, of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away at 8:34 p.m., C.D.T., Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

She was born October 25, 1951 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Marion and Mable (McKinney) Gathier. She married Michael Sickbert on April 21, 1973 at Salem Church in Huntingburg.

Betty worked as a hairdresser, preschool teacher, teacher’s aide, and as an associate at Walmart. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg. Betty was preceded in death by her mother and father.

and one daughter, Makayla Sickbert of Birdseye, IN.

Funeral services for Betty L. Sickbert will be held at 11:00 a.m. EDT, on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Pastor Mark West and Rev. Tom Wade will officiate the funeral services. Her body will be cremated following the conclusion of her visitation and funeral.
