Betty A. Wineinger, 80

Betty A. Wineinger, age 80, of Jasper passed away at 10:08 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at Brookside Village in Jasper, Indiana.
Betty was born on February 26, 1933 to Ralph and Frances (Becher) Schuch. Her first marriage was to Harold Gunselman. He preceded her in death in April of 1956. She married Donald Wineinger on January 27, 1958, and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2010.
She worked as a seamstress at Kimball for 25 years, at the Jasper Glove Factory, and as a nurse’s aide at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, St. Joseph’s St. Ann’s Society, the American Legion Post #493 Auxillary, and V.F.W. Post #673 Auxillary, and she was a past Stephen Minister and a past member of the Jasper Moose.
She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and dominos.
She is survived by four daughters, Sharon Zins, and her husband Joe, Loogootee, IN, Donna Greene, and her husband Don, Loogootee, IN, Yvonne Jochem, and her husband Mark, St. Henry, IN, and Mary Kamman, Jasper, IN; three sons, Rick Gunselman and his wife Jana, Jasper, IN; Ed Wineinger Sr., and his wife DeAnn, Jasper, IN; Donald “J.R.” Wineinger Jr. , Evansville, IN; and 20 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; one brother, Charles Schuck, and his wife LaVerne, Jasper, IN; one aunt, Florence Gardner, Jasper, IN.
Preceding her in death besides her husband, are one son, Greg Wineinger and one sister, Mary Tevebaugh, one great grandchild, Bayleigh Wineinger.
Funeral services for Betty A. Wineinger will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with burial to follow at a later date in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
The St. Ann’s Society will pray a rosary at 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
