Best Home Furnishings announces scholarship award-winners

Best Home Furnishings recently awarded scholarships to five children of full-time employees.

Winners of this academic scholarship were selected by the Dubois County Community Foundation; four $4,000 scholarships were awarded for a four-year degree and one $2,000 scholarship was awarded for a two-year degree.

Those receiving scholarships include

Levi Allinger, son of Ryan Scherzinger (Chair Division, Upholstery Department) and Erica and Jason Allinger, plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana.

Lauren Bueltel, daughter of Gwen Bueltel (Sofa Division, Sewing Department) and Phil Bueltel, plans to attend Western Kentucky University.

Austin Knies, son of Sandy (Chair Division, Sewing Department) and Chris Knies, plans to attend Ball State University.

Maria Sermersheim, daughter of Keith (General Counsel) and Connie Sermersheim, plans to attend the University of Notre Dame.

Shaylynn Smith, daughter of Tammy (Billing Clerk) and Troy Smith, plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana.
