Bessie Irene Collier, 92, Huntingburg

Bessie Irene Collier, 92, of Huntingburg, passed away at 12:35 p.m., on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

She was born December 28, 1925, in Mosquito Township, Christian County, Illinois to Issac and Minnie (Bailey) McDaniel. She married George Edgar Collier on October 2, 1946.

Bessie worked as an x-ray technician at the Paris Community Hospital in Paris, Illinois for 43 years. She was a member of the Huntingburg Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her husband and 11 siblings.

Bessie is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, George Ronald Collier of Tallapoosa, Georgia and Terry Wayne (Jacki) Collier of Huntingburg; by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Bessie Collier will be held at a later date.

Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with her disposition arrangements.
