Bernice M. (Bunny) Roelle, 95, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 11:55 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Brookside Village in Jasper, Indiana.

Bernice was born in Jasper, Indiana on November 10, 1919 to George and Barbara Ann Gardner. She married James T. Roelle on June 9, 1949 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1985.

Bernice was a homemaker and worked for Jasper Cabinet Company as a secretary for many years. She was the valedictorian of the Jasper High School Class of 1937. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and their Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by three sons, Steve Roelle of Jasper, Mike Roelle and his wife Marsha Graham of Curwensville, Penn. and Jeff Roelle and companion Bethany Hamilton of Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren, Shawn and Andrea Graham; two sisters, Mary Lee Brockman and her husband Jim of Evansville and Julia Eversman of Indianapolis.

Preceding her in death besides her husband was one daughter Barbara Ann, who died in infancy, and one brother, Cliff Gardner.

Funeral services for Bernice M. (Bunny) Roelle will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 4, 2015, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. The Holy Family Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary will pray the rosary at 2:45 p.m.
