Bernadette H. “Bunny” Fritch, 89, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at home.

Bunny was born on February 8, 1926 in Jasper, Indiana to William M. and Verena (Schaaf) Fritch.

Bunny was the bookkeeper and office manager for the Jasper Turning Company, from which she retired after many years.

She was the last surviving member of the Fritch woodworking family.

She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, the St. Ann’s Society, and a member of the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

She enjoyed visiting Disney World, music, singing, and her dogs.

She is survived by her lifetime friend, Barbara Scherle of Jasper; nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were two sisters, Mary Rita Van Huysse and Louise Gutgsell.

Funeral services for Bernadette “Bunny” Fritch, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, Indiana.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time on Friday, May 15, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Sisters of St. Benedict, the Sisters of Providence, the Dubois County Humane Society, or a favorite charity.
