Bennett Perez, Sr., 55, Huntingburg

Bennett Perez, Sr., 55, of Huntingburg, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

He was born July 25, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, to Enrique and Irene Perez who preceded him in death; and married Rebecca Rainey on March 9, 2006.  He was a restaurant cook and Circle A Convenience Store clerk.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Perez of Huntingburg; three children, Bennett Perez, Jr. of Puerto Rico, Brian Perez of Terre Haute and Daniel Perez of Honolulu, Hawaii; two stepchildren, Julie Healy of Washington and William Rainey of Ferdinand; two siblings, Mariam Mercado of Florida and Rick Perez of New Mexico; and 11 grandchildren.

Graveside committal services and burial will be held at noon EDT on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at the New Liberty Coe Cemetery in Coe, Indiana.  Friends may visit one hour prior to the committal service at the graveside.
