Beatrice Hopper, 69, Dubois

Beatrice Hopper, 69, of Dubois, entered eternal rest on Feb. 24th.

She was born in Jasper, on August 16th, 1955 to Ralph and Mary (Crowe) Brosmer.

Bea married Billie Joe “Bill” Hopper on June 28th, 1975 and he preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; Sister — Millie Zehr; (9) Grandchildren and Nephews — Dallas Brosmer and Riley Mullis.

Bea was a 1974 graduate of Northeast Dubois High School and worked at Kimball Electronics and Piano Plant for 45 years before retiring.

Bea is survived by her daughters, Amy Jones (Phillip) of Dubois and Carrie Newlin (Danny) of Dubois; son, Jared Hopper (Lynley Bennett) of Birdseye; brothers, Terry Brosmer of Dubois and Charlie Brosmer (Lorrie) of Shoals; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date at Ames Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 1st, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
