Barnetta A. Hendrix, 91, Dubois

Barnetta A. Hendrix, 91, of Dubois, entered eternal rest on March 26, 2025, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, Ind.

She was born in French Lick, Ind., on March 23, 1934, to Hermel G. and Rachel Irene (Mills) Parks.

Barnetta married Bleford Blaine Hendrix on June 28, 1952, and he preceded her in death on March 9, 2021.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harold Glen and Marvin Parks; sister, Norma Wilson and daughter, Janet McLane.

Barnetta was a 1952 French Lick High School graduate and retired from Pluto.

She is survived by daughters, Linda Benjamin (Kent) and Pam Quinn (Brad); brother, Chester Parks; sister, Doris Emmons; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Mike O’Neill on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 4 p.m. at Elon Christian Church, with burial to follow at Patoka Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from noon until the time of service at Elon Christian Church.
