Barbara Zahn, 78, Jasper

Barbara Zahn, 78, of Jasper, passed away at 5:38 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at The Timbers of Jasper.

Barbara was born in Louisville, Ky., on January 28, 1939, to Richard and Mary Ellen (Hurt) Miller. She was married to James J. Zahn who preceded her in death.

Barbara worked as a statistics clerk for the United States Census Bureau for 20 years. She enjoyed reading Grace Livingston Hill books.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Catherine Hall of Sellersburg and Joyce (John) Truba of Vevay, Ind.; two sons, John D. Truelove of Loogootee and Thomas A. Truelove of Shoals; three grandchildren, Corbin, Noah and Jessica Truelove.

Preceding her in death besides her husband, are two brothers, Robert E. and James A. Truelove.

Private services for Barbara Zahn were held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper, Indiana.
