Missing autistic 19-year-old found

Perry County – Multiple police agencies and first responders searched for the 19-year-old after he went missing from Anderson Woods Monday at about 4 p.m.

A Silver Alert was issued by Indiana State Police this morning, and Jasper State Police Post also provided an update at noon, asking locals to check vehicles and buildings on their properties.

According to officials, he was found after an extensive search involving multiple search teams, K-9 units, and drones. As of noon on Tuesday, teams were still searching for him.

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office reported him safe and back with his family as of 3:10 p.m. EST.
