Arthur Lee Woodall, age 93, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 4:25 p.m., Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born August 27, 1919 in Rt. 1, Petersburg, Indiana to John C. and Jessie Lucille (McClure) Woodall.

He married Mary Catherine Gootee on December 26, 1940 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Petersburg.

Arthur was retired from Kimball. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg, V.F.W. Post #2366, Jasper American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, St. Vincent DePaul Society, and Oblates of St. Benedict. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mary Catherine Woodall, who died July 22, 2010; one son, Donald Woodall Sr.; three brothers – Walter Woodall, John Dallas Woodall and Clarence Woodall who died in infancy; one half brother, Kenneth McClure; four sisters – Tina Wright, Olive Weisman, Sadie Pride and Anna Mae Bartley; and one son-in-law, Richard Folsom Gouker.

He is survived by;

by 21 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Arthur Lee Woodall will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Friday, July 12, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The V.F.W. Post #2366 Memorial Detail will conduct military graveside rites.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00-8:00 p.m., on Thursday. A Disabled American Veterans memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Thursday; and a parish rosary prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
