Armella A. Hopf, age 85 of Jasper passed away at 3:04 p.m. Thursday (February 23, 2012) at Brookside Village in Jasper.
She was born in Huntingburg on April 9, 1926 to Basil and Anna (Hurst)Fleck. She married Wilfred Hopf on April 27, 1946 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.
Armella is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church – Blessed Virgin Sodality of Holy Family.
She enjoyed Flowers, Music , Yard Sales and Bingo.

She was the last surviving member of her family.
Preceding her in death are three sons, Dennis, Daniel and Stanley Hopf who died in infancy also one daughter Michelle who died in infancy. One grandson Douglas Kruger. One sister, Adeline Bosler and four brothers, Sylvester, Cletus, Cyril and Aloysius Fleck.
Funeral services for Armella Hopf will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday (February 25, 2012) in Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. Service time at church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or to Vista Care Hospice.
