Ardella L. Kunz, 90, Huntingburg

Ardella L. Kunz, 90, of Huntingburg, passed away at 7:05 p.m., on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at The Waters of Huntingburg.

She was born January 30, 1928, in Huntingburg to Franklin and Cornelia (Blessinger) Kunz.

Ardella worked as a telephone switchboard operator and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Robert, Ralph, Franklin and Othmar Kunz; and one sister, Dorothy Hoffman.

Ardella is survived by her niece and nephew who were her guardians, Gretchen (Paul) Mundy of Huntingburg and Gary (Carol) Hoffman of Indianapolis; nieces, Judith Wells of Evansville and Margaret Gerlach of Crystal Lake, Ill.; and nephews, Donald Kunz of Georgetown, Edward Kunz of Martinsville and Michael Kunz of Carmel.

Funeral services for Ardella Kunz will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Ryan Hilderbrand.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, the morning of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
